- Good for: History & culture

Six days in Bali stretch east as well as south, so the island feels wider and quieter. Alongside Ubud's temples and the Uluwatu cliffs, the route heads out to Besakih Temple, Lempuyang Temple and the fishing coast of Amed. It suits visitors who enjoy temples and scenic drives and do not mind some long road days.

How Troovz stays freeQuick answers to common questions.
Six days cover Ubud, the rice terraces and waterfalls, the Bukit cliffs and the Canggu coast, with a day in the east for Besakih Temple, Candi Dasa, Lempuyang Temple and Amed. Tanah Lot Temple closes the trip on the west coast. As of 30 Oct 2026.
Six days work well for the south, Ubud and the east. The northern highlands are not on this plan, and the east day is the longest drive: Lempuyang Temple alone usually takes 120 to 240 minutes, plus the road between the stops. As of 30 Oct 2026.
It links Besakih Temple, Candi Dasa, Lempuyang Temple and the coast at Amed. Sarong and sash are required at Besakih Temple and Lempuyang Temple, and at Lempuyang you park at the main terminal and take the shuttle up to the temple. As of 30 Oct 2026.
Alternate the road days with the lighter ones. Ubud's palace, market and Sacred Monkey Forest sit close together, while the east day covers longer distances, with about 60 to 120 minutes at Besakih Temple and 120 to 240 minutes at Amed. As of 30 Oct 2026.
