Four days work for a first visit that keeps to the south and the Ubud area. The east coast and the northern highlands are left for a longer stay, and Uluwatu Temple usually takes 60 to 120 minutes, which still leaves room for the beaches on the Bukit day. As of 30 Oct 2026.
Every leg between areas is by road, and a taxi, ride app or scooter takes about the same time. From the airport, Ubud is about 36 minutes and Canggu about 24 minutes without traffic, and there is no train or metro on the island. As of 30 Oct 2026.
