Weekday mornings are typically quieter and animals often more active early; being indoors, it suits hot summer days.
Ride up to the canopy first, then walk down through each forest level; the outdoor nature park beside the dome adds gardens.
Take the lift to the canopy at the top, where birds fly freely and sloths rest in the branches. Then walk down the ramps through the mid-level forest, with reptiles, insects and small mammals. At the bottom, the flooded forest shows river fish in a large tank. Keeper talks and animal encounters run through the day, so check the schedule on arrival.
The Green Planet is in City Walk, between Downtown and Jumeirah; taxis and ride-hailing cars are the simplest way there.
A standard day pass covers the rainforest dome, and the venue also sells a premium ticket with timed sessions, as of Oct 2026. Animal encounters can be added separately. The Book box on this page shows partner tickets and current prices.
The dome keeps the same hours each day, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, as of Oct 2026. Keeper talks and animal encounters run through the day, so check the schedule on arrival. Weekday mornings are typically quieter, and arriving early leaves time to walk every level before closing.
The dome is indoors and cool, so it suits the hottest part of the day, and many visitors pair it with a stroll around City Walk. Taxis make the short hop to nearby Downtown sights easy. It appears in our plans as: Day 7, “Alserkal Avenue & The Green Planet”
A tall glass dome holds a re-created tropical rainforest. Visitors usually ride up to the canopy level and walk down past birds, sloths and reptiles to the flooded forest at the base. The standard day pass covers the whole dome, as of Oct 2026.
