The tunnel and the zoo are easy to combine with a mall visit, so the time inside usually feels relaxed.
Weekday mornings soon after opening are typically quieter, and being fully indoors it suits the hottest hours of the day.
You can see the main tank for free through the big viewing panel in the mall; a ticket adds the tunnel walk and the zoo upstairs.
The big window on the mall's ground floor gives a first look at sand tiger sharks and rays. Inside the paid area, a curved walk-through tunnel runs beneath the main tank. Upstairs, the Underwater Zoo has penguins, otters, crocodiles, octopus and rainforest creatures. Check the schedule for feeding talks, and extra experiences such as a glass-bottom boat ride can be added.
